This is a Master’s Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from Swiss and International Students to apply for the same. Only 5 such awards are being offered and the deadline for application is 31-Jul-16.

This Scholarship will offer you the study grant is awarded in the form of a reduction of the tuition fee and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the beneficiary decides not to register at USI or withdraws after the first semester, he/she may not, under any circumstances, ask for a deposit of the grant for 01 Year.

Eligibility:	In order to apply for scholarship, applicant must follow the given criteria: Applicants must have obtained the Bachelor’s degree (passed all exams and defended the thesis) by July 31st, 2016 with a cumulative GPA of at least 80/100. Applicants must have been admitted to the first year of a Master programme at the Faculty of Informatics of USI (Informatics, Computational Science, Management & Informatics) beginning in September 2016.

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following documents and should possess the following:

Applications must be sent by e-Mail. For the Faculties of Economics, Communication Sciences and Informatics only, prospect students are allowed to apply through a paper application form and attach the required documentation.

The application package, to be sent in paper form, will include:-

The completed application form

Photocopy of past diplomas (Bachelor, licentiate, four-year degree, maturity);

Official transcript of results of university examinations;

Certified translation of any diplomas written in a language other than Italian, German, French, English, or Spanish;

Curriculum vitae

Personal letter of motivation drafted by the candidate;

Official certification of proficiency in English or Italian;

Photocopy of an identity card or other document;

Photocopy of residence permit for foreign nationals already domiciled in Switzerland.

Once all the information has been received by the University of Italian Switzerland and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
