The European Aluminium Association (EAA) is looking for a temporary intern (to be engaged under a ‘stage d’immersion professionelle’) to support the Recycling Division with the preparation of the International Aluminium Recycling Congress to be held on 23 and 24 February 2015 in Vienna. The internship is for a period of three months, starting as soon as possible and not ending before 1 March 2015.
The purpose of the internship is to familiarise the intern with the tasks and responsibilities of an administrative and organisational support in an international environment, with focus on events management. The candidate will be working under the guidance of the Recycling Director and the Event Manager.
The internship also includes support during the Congress at site, which implicates a three days travel to Vienna.
Main tasks:
  • Organisational, administrative and logistics support for the Congress
  • Update of the contacts database
  • Support during the Congress in Vienna
  • Administrative support for the follow-up of the Congress
  • General administrative support
Compensation:
  • Monthly allowance of 751 EUR
Essential skills:
  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Have excellent command of Windows Office package
  • Good organisational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration/office management, event management, communication, administration, European studies or any other relevant field
