Traineeship CEEP - European Centre of Employers and Enterprises providing public services

Organisation: CEEP represents at EU-level enterprises and organisations from across Europe, both public and private, at national, regional and local level, which are public employers or providers of services of general interest. CEEP is one of the three General Cross Industry Social Partners recognised by the EU Commission, i.e. it represents public services employers in the European Social Dialogue    www.ceep.eu
Area :  We are currently looking for a trainee in the field of communications and media.  
Date:  Starting date: 3rd March, for a period of 5 months (may be prolonged).  Small remuneration available.
Line of reporting : General Secretary
Main tasks
  • Maintaining and updating information on CEEP website, including extranet;
  • Editing CEEP newsletter and newsflash
  • Editing and distributing CEEP press releases following brief from relevant policy officer;
  • Collecting, analysing and distributing CEEP press and media coverage, including keeping press distribution lists up to date;
  • Supporting the preparation of PPT presentations;
  • Editing CEEP brochures, activity report and other communication material, including graphic design;
  • Liaising with external communication agencies for the preparation of CEEP brochures and other communication material not directly produced in house;
  • Proof reading;
Qualifications and skills
  • Degree in Communication;
  • English and French language at native-speaker level, another European language is an asset;
  • Eye for details and highly organised;
  • Hard working and respecting deadlines;
  • Punctuality and accuracy;
  • Team spirit
  • Flexibility, openness and ability to work within a dynamic and international team
  • IT: excellent knowledge in Ms Office.  Proficient use of Photoshop, In Design and adobe acrobat.
