2014 Director’s European Union Scholarships at University of Kent in UK

University of Kent is offering five European Union scholarships for MSc programme at Kent Business School. Applicants will receive a 50% reduction of their tuition fees at enrollment. To be eligible for these European Union scholarships applicants must be resident in the UK or Mainland Europe and hold a European passport. Scholarship awards will only be granted for September 2014 entry and cannot be deferred. Scholarship is awarded on the basis of outstanding academic merit. Online application must be submitted by 31 May 2014.
About Scholarship: Kent Business School is committed to the University of Kent’s status as being the UK’s European University and to support, 5 European Union Scholarships worth 50% of the tuition fee for MSc programme at Kent Business School are announced.

Eligibility: •Applicants must be resident in the UK or Mainland Europe and hold a European passport.
•Applicants must apply online via the Scholarship Application Form (see right) after accepting a formal offer to study onto MSc programme at Kent Business School for September 2014 entry
•Applicants must submit as part of the online scholarship application an essay of up to 750 words on: ‘The Future of Europe: Towards further integration or a break-up?’

Scholarship Open for: Resident in the UK or Mainland Europe (Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and Vatican City) and hold a European passport are eligible for this European Union Scholarship.
Number of awards: 5
Value: Applicants will receive a 50% reduction of their tuition fees at enrollment.
Selection Criteria: This European Union scholarship will be awarded to 5 successful applicants based on outstanding academic merit.
Notification: Scholarship decisions will be made by the Scholarship Awarding Panel in the first week of June 2014 with decisions notified to successful applicants within 2 weeks following the official deadline date. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
