2014 Centre for Cultural Policy Studies Regional Scholarship in UK

University of Warwick is offering one part-fee MA Scholarship of £15,000 for international students. Students from North America and the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Eastern Europe (non-EU) who have been offered a place on one of the Centre’s three MA programmes by 31st March 2014 are eligible for this MA scholarship. Online application must be submitted by 31st March 2014.
About Scholarship: A number of funding opportunities are available for research students. Most scholarship competitions take place between November and May for courses starting the following year.

Eligibility: All applicants must have been offered a place on one of the Centre’s three MA programmes by 31st March 2014 and must be a national of one of the following territories: North America and the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia or Eastern Europe (non-EU).
Scholarship Open for: Students from North America and the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Eastern Europe (non-EU) are eligible for this MA scholarship.
Number of award: One scholarship will be offered.
Value: The Center is pleased to offer one part-fee bursary of £15,000 for study on one the Centre’s MA programmes to an eligible applicant from these regions.
Selection Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the following criteria: 1.Academic excellence and or / professional knowledge and expertise; 2.The potential to make a positive contribution to the Centre’s postgraduate community and to student learning on the course, based on professional, academic and / or cultural background; 3.All applicants must have been offered a place on one of the Centre’s three MA programmes by 31st March 2014 and must be a national of one of the following territories: North America and the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia or Eastern Europe (non-EU). Applicants will be shortlisted by the Centre Scholarship Committee against these criteria on the basis of their standard application forms and will then be invited to write a short statement outlining their suitability for their chosen MA programme and explaining how they meet the scholarship criteria.
Notification: The successful applicant will be notified of their award around 15th April 2014. The successful applicant will be asked to confirm acceptance of the bursary within two weeks of receiving notice of their award.
