Internship in PwC Belgium EU Project Management Team PWC

PwC Belgium is looking for an intern to join the EU Project Management Team. The position offers hands-on experience in EU project management and the opportunity for continuous on the job learning by being a part of a prestigious international project.
Job description and responsibilities:

• Supporting the Project Manager for coordination and delivery of the project reports;
• Sharing project related information and documents among the members of the international project network,
• Updating the project web portal to stimulate interactive communication within the project network;
• Research and follow-up on relevant international events, publications and projects;
• Organisation of international meetings and events;
• Research and support for the preparation of proposals for new EU projects.

Qualifications and skills required:

• University degree in one of the following areas: EU studies, economics, law, political science, public administration, social sciences or related areas;
• Good knowledge of the European institutions and policies in general;
• Very good understanding of EU decision making process;
• It would be an asset if the candidate had experience in report drafting and/or policy analysis;
• Interest in EU policies on home affairs, anti-corruption, governance and security,
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills; project management experience would be an asset;
• Good analytical and drafting skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Dynamic personality with a sense of initiative on the basis of general directives;
• Good team player;
• Thorough knowledge of English; good knowledge of French or another EU official language would be an asset;
• Good knowledge of the following IT programmes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Internship period: 13 January 2014 - 27 June 2014
