More information about internships
Internships at ARTICLE 19 offer the opportunity for individuals to further their career goals while defending freedom of expression and information. Interns gain experience and knowledge which may help them either with their studies, interests or in gaining future paid work in the non-governmental sector. The bulk of any placement will be substantive in nature, giving insight into the workings of an international human rights organisation and an in depth knowledge of issues relating to freedom of expression and information.
Internships are limited to between six weeks and six months and all applicants need to have or be able to obtain the right to work in the UK.
Internships are unpaid and interns are expected to secure funding for the internship independently.
