2012 Student Finance in Oxford University

More information: http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate_courses/student_funding/

You have read about funding in the press. You have heard about the new tuition charge system for undergraduates. But you still have no idea how much it will cost you to go to university.  If this is you please read on to find out the true value of an Oxford degree.
Despite what you may have heard, it's no more expensive to study at Oxford than at any other university. In fact, our world-class resources and college provision actually keep living costs down.
While many universities are offering either fee waivers or bursaries in response to the new tuition charges, Oxford will provide both.  Not only this, Oxford is offering the most generous financial support of any university to those on a family income of less than £16,000.
This University is proud to be able to offer a generous financial support package for students from the lowest-income households starting their undergraduate studies here in 2012. Remember, this will be in addition to the support available from the Government.
What will this mean?
  • The top support from Oxford will total £10,000 in the first year and over £6,000 in every later year.
  • Based on current student profiles, one in six students will receive a fee waiver and a quarter will receive a bursary.
Now consider:
  • Which top university offers regular tutorials with world experts in your subject area?
  • Which top university has 90–100% graduate employment 6 months after leaving?
  • Which top university regularly tops student satisfaction surveys?
  • Which top university will be offering both fee waivers and bursaries to both UK and EU students from 2012?
  • Which top university is committed to ensuring that any UK student can afford to take up a place there?
  • Which top university can offer all its students long-term value for money?
Yes - it’s Oxford!   A degree from Oxford is a springboard for life. Find out what support could be available for you at the bottom of this page.
If you are interested in finding out more about the true cost of studying at a top university committed to access for all, regardless of means, then please see our living costs information.
